Azergo is helping people stay in their jobs by donating ergonomic chairs

Azergo is donating several ergonomic office chairs, valued at €23,000, toAdapei 69 (Metropolitan and Departmental Association of Parents and Friends of People with Intellectual Disabilities) and its ESATs (Work Support Facilities and Services), thereby enhancing the comfort and well-being of people with disabilities working in these specialized facilities. Take a behind-the-scenes look at this charitable initiative.

An approach guided by human values

Vincent RIGOUDY, CEO of Azergo and the driving force behind this initiative, explains: “The chairs we’re donating come from our ‘Second Life’ refurbishment program. Some were used for customer trials and restored to near-new condition, while others—brand-new but with specific configurations—did not find buyers through this program. These chairs, designed to adapt to everyone’s needs thanks to numerous adjustments and options, still had great potential. For Vincent RIGOUDY, it was obvious to direct them toward an organization likeAdapei 69:

“Thanks to their customization options, our chairs adapt to each user’s specific needs and are therefore particularly well-suited to meeting the needs of people with disabilities. This donation is a natural extension of our commitment to inclusion and the well-being of everyone.”

A Direct Impact on the ESATs of Adapei 69

Founded more than 75 years ago as a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901, Adapei 69 supports 2,800 children and adults with disabilities (intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, or multiple disabilities) through a network of 60 specialized facilities and services. ESATs enable people with disabilities to work in an adapted environment, which promotes their independence and social inclusion.

Beyond its immediate usefulness, this donation reflects a shared vision between Azergo and Adapei 69. Adapei 69 has always been committed to defending the rights of people with disabilities and providing them with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

“We’re glad that these chairs are finding a new purpose, especially since an organization like Adapei 69 wouldn’t necessarily have had the funding to purchase this type of solution,” concludes Vincent RIGOUDY.
